The Chamber is continually looking to help Yorkshire manufacturing businesses by facilitating and helping in the best way we can. We have recognised the need to bolster our role in helping you address the key issues facing your business today.

We are committed to supporting members to access opportunities which will come about in the emerging low carbon/renewable energy, health technology and advanced manufacturing economies, as well as in existing more established sectors through a portfolio of products, services and representational activities.

Exporting

The government talks of an export led recovery, we have been seeing evidence of this for the last 12 months with significant increases in members accessing our international documentation service and we will continue to lobby for appropriate support to encourage more companies to take advantage of overseas opportunities.

As such we are continually adding export seminars, events and business support activities to our manufacturing offering to try and encourage members to take the leap and experience the benefits of international trade.
