As a member of the Leeds, York and North Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce we would like to inform you of some changes we have made to our online directory that will improve your chances of receiving a tender for contracts or new business opportunities.

The business categories we have adopted for the online directory have now been re-set to fall in line with standard UK wide business categories.

This is an automatic process and in most cases your business categories (i.e. what your company does) will not have been changed, however there maybe some deviation and we suggest you log on to the members’ area of this website to check you have the correct business categories selected for your business.

Although the format of the categories looks slightly different; with each sub-business category being listed under a main business category, the essential processes stay the same for either posting a business opportunity or using the ‘business search’ facility.

Don’t forget by using the Chamber online directory you can:

• Receive contracts and tenders relevant to your business from our area and across the UK
• Search for suppliers
• Widen your networking base
• Select an efficient and ‘easy-to-use’ system to post a business opportunity
