Description

We are delighted to announce that the speaker for the Chamber Annual Dinner in York 2010 will be William Hague MP.

William has held the position of Conservative MP for Richmond, North Yorkshire since 1989 and has been Shadow Foreign Secretary since 2005.  In addition to being a well known public and political figure, William is also an exceptional public speaker renowned for his Yorkshire wit and keen perception of current affairs.

William embarked on his political career whilst at Magdalen College, Oxford, where he became heavily immersed in student politics, and was elected President of both the Oxford Union and the University Conservative Association. He continued his studies at INSEAD Business School in France, before entering the business world working for Shell UK and then for the management consultants, McKinsey and Co.

Our Annual Dinner in York is firmly positioned as the largest and most prestigious business dinner in North Yorkshire. We will again sell out the 600 available places so we would urge you to book early.

Tickets are priced at £65+vat per person to include a sparkling wine reception and a 3 course dinner. The dinner is once again generously supported by our principal sponsor, Lloyds TSB.

Tickets are available in tables of 10 or individually. Bookings and table allocation will be dealt with on a first come, first served basis.
