Halifax Video Production Firm Expands

Yorkshire's leading video production company, Limehouse, has created two new business divisions and appointed a Lloyds TSB stalwart to strengthen its strategic video communications offering.

Limehouse Heritage specialises in producing video content for museums and galleries, while Limehouse LAB creates experiential video content for new technologies such as apps, iPhones and iPads.  Limehouse's core business will continue to focus on video and film for company internal communications, with a particular emphasis on financial organisations.

Tracy Keates, formerly channel manager, Retail Internal Communications at Lloyds TSB has been brought on board as director of strategic communications at Limehouse.  Bringing 20 years' financial industry experience, Tracy will provide Limehouse's clients with an added level of strategic thinking and planning to ensure that all internal communication projects deliver on every level.

Nick Howard, founder and managing director of Limehouse which has offices in Leeds and Halifax said: "We've been working with an increasingly diverse range of organisations and so felt it was the right time to offer a more specialised service through three dedicated divisions.

"Phil Cass, the former manager of the Beautiful South is our creative director at LAB and, Karen Bell heads up Limehouse Heritage.  With Tracy joining the company, we'll have one of the strongest video production teams in the country."

This month, Limehouse's clients First Direct and Halifax confirmed that they'll be continuing to use the video experts for a series of projects in 2012.

Limehouse's work for First Direct includes charting employees' success stories in and out of work, which are then used for internal communications events and company films. Limehouse will also continue to work on Halifax's Network News - a monthly video news DVD for Halifax branch colleagues.

Recent new business wins include Dorset Museums who have appointed Limehouse to re-purpose some of their archive material for a number of galleries and the NHS who have signed up Limehouse to work on videos for their e-learning side of the organisation.
