Promotion At Elvington Holdings
With effect
from 1st January 2012, Tim Garland has been promoted
to Business Development Director of Elvington Holdings
Limited. Tim joined the family firm 15 months ago,
which has been run by his father Ken Garland, who is still Managing
Director, and his mother Sue Garland who is a Director &
Company Secretary.
Tim, aged 28 is married and lives in York. Prior to returning to York he worked for 5 years in London as a Site Manager for a London based Construction Company, having previously obtained a degree in Construction Management at Northumbria University.
Elvington Holdings Limited, which also incorporates Elvington Plant Hire, has been operating in the York area for nearly 40 years providing Contractors Plant Hire and Haulage, as well as owning a number of Industrial units for letting, and is based from Elvington Industrial Estate, near York.
Despite the difficult economic conditions, 2011 saw a large increase in the Company's trading as the Company embarks on a sustained expansion plan over the next 5 years.
An Associate Company of Elvington Holdings Limited - Elvington Floorcraft Limited - which is run by Tim's stepbrother Andrew Garland, provides a full range of Contract Flooring to a wide customer portfolio from it's York Office.
