Placement student joins virtualDCS

Sam Weatherhead, a student at Bradford Grammar School has always had a passion for I.T., aspiring for a career as an I.T. project manager.  During the placement Sam will be acting as a member of the team, working with leading virtualisation experts in order to solve and implement Cloud business solutions.

Richard May, Managing Director of virtualDCS said: “Over the last 12 months unemployment in the North has increased by almost 100,000 people, with around 2.6m individuals now out of work within the North of England alone. In light of this, as a company, we do our best to support the Yorkshire region and surrounding areas in any way that we can.

After a successful placement at the beginning of the year with a University student, we were approached by Sam and were more than happy for him to join the company. In a troubled economic time, we believe it is important that students gather as much work experience as possible to help them in the future.”
