Get Involved
The Chamber's forums and events are an opportunity for all members to get involved with our representation and lobbying activity.
Property Forums
The Chamber runs Property Forums in Leeds and York. The forums act as 'think tanks' on property issues affecting Leeds, York and the wider-city region. Membership of the forums compromises of senior figures from all sectors of the property community and holds regular full group meetings to which all members are invited.
Business Forums
The Chamber Business Forums are held in Leeds and York on a quarterly basis. They are an opportunity for businesses to raise awareness of the key issues affecting them, as well as hear from the city region's business leaders and policy makers. The issues raised at the forums will help drive the Chamber's lobbying and representational activity.
Leeds Skills Board
The Leeds Skills Board provides business input into the skills agenda and aims to develop practical private sector- led solutions to ensure that current and future skills requirements are delivered by local learning providers.
Chamber HR Network
The Chamber HR Network promotes effective, fair recruitment and retention practices among local employers. It runs a number of sub-groups - Care Sector, Contact Centre and Diversity Forum - which share best practise on all aspects of recruitment, retention, employment rights and skills.
For more information on getting involved please contact Bernadette Clayton on 0113 247 0000.
Chamber Roundtables and Briefings
The Chamber holds ad-hoc meetings with senior policy makers, politicians and key influencers. They are an opportunity for businesses to put forward their views to the individuals who can make a difference, as well as share best practice and information with their peers. Details are issued a few weeks in advance of the event taking place. To ensure that you are on our mailing list please send your contact details to representation@yourchamber.org.uk
